Day 11 - Kanazawa: Catching Fuji at 300 km/h

Back at Tokyo Station... Where paying with a digital credit card became the latest boss fight. Shinkansen tickets obtained—barely. (Pro tip: use a physical card... please.)
Shinkansen!!! Zooming past snow-capped Mount Fuji and endless scenery at high speed—there’s no better way to travel! except teleportation maybe? I'll take that as well.
Kanazawa Castle (金沢城) – A Quiet Stroll We explored just a small part of the castle grounds, but it was enough to enjoy the view.
Fish Strikes Again Another meal, another round with fish. Why do I keep doing this to myself? Thankfully, I lived to tell the tale! and it was actually good. PS: Rice and miso soup were also part of the deal, but they’re not in the picture! Guess why...
Ryokan Life Not much else to report—just brewing tea in a yukata. Pictures don’t do it justice—pure serenity.

Every journey starts small—like finding the elusive Suica card. Navigating the Tokyo station? A challenge. Facing human interaction? Terrifying. But victory is sweet: easy train rides unlocked! Strolling around outside the Imperial Palace gardens Just a casual stroll... totally not lost or anything. But seriously, WE weren’t. Pop-up store discovered! "Just window shopping!" Heading up for a bit Skyline views unlocked. Up, up, WE go! Hunting for food around Tokyo Station Gourmet Street Mission: food. Choices: overwhelming. Outcome: delicious. Day 3 - Tokyo: From Natural Wonders to Neon Nights!"

Ueno Park Definitely winter, no doubt about it (totally not sarcastic). Still, Ueno Park has its charm, even without leaves—or warmth! National Museum of Nature and Science Where retro tech meets wildlife wonders! My tech fascination took over, but I made time for the animals too Food (Missed Photo) Somewhere in Akihabara, I had an amazing meal. Too bad my excitement outpaced my photography skills—you’ll just have to trust me! Akihabara: This Time Was a Warm-Up—Next Visit, We’ll Have a Plan! Apparently, I’m terrible at window shopping.
